Hello everybody, i would like to apply to the master of of conference interpreting of Glendon but i don't understand the process because i am not familiar with the canadian system.I also want to know if the grade point average of B is really optional : i mean if i provide a proof of English proficiency and i succeed the aptitude test, i will really be accepted ? Help Any information about the proof of English proficiency ( which one ? ), the 1st year ( since the classes and the internship are online, should i find a job or another internship, in which field ), scholarships and financial aids, enrollment fees and general advice would help me a lot. Thanks in advance

I'm a current Glendon student, just finishing my second year. Feel free to contact me if you still have questions? I'm not an admissions expert but I'm Canadian so I'm happy to help you navigate this process.

Hello Marie, could you tell me about the studies you did before entering Glendon and how you entered Glendon? And also did you have a grade point average of B ? Thanks in advance

Of course - I had a Bachelors in Linguistics from another Canadian university and experience living abroad in countries where my languages are spoken. I sent in the video application, was invited to the aptitude test (which is done by video conference) and then accepted. I'm not familiar with letters for GPA but internet tells me a B is 3.0, so yes, I did have a GPA of 3.0 or above from my previous studies.

Which country are you applying from? What is the thing that's giving you trouble? For most of this information you should get in touch directly with the school (https://www.glendon.yorku.ca/about/contact-us/) - they're the ones who are most qualified to help! The MCI is in Glendon college but is part of the Graduate Studies department (whereas Glendon is undergrad) so make sure to mention that to be directed to the right people.
