I'm looking at going to graduate school for CI (English A, French B, Spanish C) and I'm very interested in MIIS, but I've been hearing mixed reviews. Is it worth the hype/cost? |

Dear Lexigeek, I'm afraid I can't really provide you with an adequate answer to your question. I was myself very much interested in pursuing a degree in CI (English A, German B, French C) at MIIS. I'm from Southern California myself, so the prospect of going back home was very appealing. Funny enough, I heard mixed reviews about the school too! I didn't let that deter me, though. After all, there was no way of telling on what criteria these reviews were actually based on. The reasons why I decided not to apply for admission are quite simple actually. To be honest, the costs put me off and since I was already based in Europe I figured it would probably be best to continue my education here as well. In case you're still trying to find some more information about MIIS, you might want to have a look at the following thread: http://interpreters.freeforums.org/post6735.html#p6735 It might not necessarily give you the answer you're looking for, but it may help! Hope this helps! |
