Rules governing the use of interpreting.info
Interpreting.info is a community-driven website for questions and answers, sponsored and hosted by AIIC (“AIIC”), an international, not-for-profit association representing professional conference interpreters.
You agree not to use interpreting.info to post any material that is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invasive of the privacy of others, sexually explicit, or illegal.
You also agree that you will not post any copyrighted material that is not owned by you.
You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless interpreting.info and their agents with respect to any claim based upon any post you may submit.
We reserve the right to reveal any information we have about you in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message that you may post.
We reserve the right to delete any message posted on interpreting.info. If you find any posts objectionable or offensive, please flag them as objectionable using the built-in feature in order to alert our Moderators.
The views expressed on interpreting.info are those of the participants alone and cannot be construed as representing the views of AIIC, the International Association of Conference Interpreters.
Accordingly, AIIC is not liable for any trading consequences incurred by readers as a result of heeding predictions, analysis or recommendations on interpreting.info.
Promotional messages are disallowed and will be removed. Please refrain from posting commercial advertisements.
Conflicting opinions are expected to be expressed, and exchanges are encouraged; however, as noted above, insults and personal attacks are not permitted and will not be tolerated.
Please do not paste the full text of articles from other publications into interpreting.info. This may be a breach of copyright laws, and such posts will be removed. Short excerpts and quotations within the limits of fair use are acceptable, however.
